Check in without opening the app
Put your check-in on the home screen. One glance tells you where you stand today — one tap finishes it.
Small · 2×2
Medium · 4×2 — today's windows + the week
Large · 4×4 — check in, the week, SOS
Four states, readable at arm's length
The widget never shows two things at once. One state, one colour, one next action.
Amber, with the time your window closes. Tap to finish it.
Green with the time it landed. Nothing left to do today.
Red, and it says what the system is about to do next.
Grey and unambiguous — no one is watching for you right now.
A tap on the widget is a real check-in
It goes through the same workflow as the button in the app, and only stands escalation down once the server has it. The widget waits for that confirmation before it turns green.
SOS opens the app on purpose
An emergency alert needs a hold, your location and a confirmation screen. The widget takes you there in one tap rather than firing from a place it can't confirm.
Add the widget in about ten seconds.
Long-press your home screen, search “I'm Alive”, pick a size.
