Four ways to work with us

Referral commission: 20%

Share your link with the families you work with. We pay 20% of the first payment from every household you refer ($6.00 on Premium, $8.00 on Premium Plus), monthly by PayPal. The same terms as our affiliate program.

Something larger, by arrangement

Group discounts for members or staff, prepaid licences for clients, or your name on the app. These are tailored to each partner, so none has a published price. Book a call and we'll work out what fits.

The first two are live rails today: referral codes and client-facing links already exist and work on both app stores. Prepaid licences and white label are real intentions rather than shipped features, and we would agree a timeline with you rather than pretend you could start next week.

What your client goes through

The same journey our direct customers use.

1

You share your link

At an assessment, on a flyer, or by email to the family.

2

They see the plans first

Features and prices, then they choose, then they create an account.

3

They sign up within 60 days

An account or purchase made on our website within 60 days of using your link is credited to you. App-only sign-ups we credit by hand. Just tell us.

4

You get paid monthly

Each month we email you how many referred households paid and what you earned. We never share who they are.

What it costs your client

PlanPriceWhat it adds
Protect Me$29.99 / yearUp to two check-ins a day, contact escalation by push, email and text.
Protect Me On The Move$39.99 / yearThree check-ins a day and an AI voice call in the escalation.

Prices are in US dollars. A one-year term is the default; a three-year option is planned alongside it and its price has not been decided. If a client misses a check-in they are reminded first, and only then are the contacts they chose messaged. That is the entire promise, and it is a promise that a message goes out — not that anyone is dispatched, and not that a quiet phone means somebody is fine.

What the rest of this category does

We read every published partner, reseller and affiliate program in this market on 23 September 2026 before writing this page. Four findings are worth your time.

Nobody else publishes agency terms

Of the eleven business-to-business partner pages we checked — Medical Guardian, Bay Alarm, Aloe Care, Lifeline, MobileHelp, Freeus, ResponseNow and the rest — not one published a rate, a margin or a minimum volume. Every page is a contact form and a phone number. Publishing ours is the differentiator.

The only real benchmark is Snug

Snug Safety is the closest peer by product shape. It publishes up to 40% of plan value to organizations, as a discount or as revenue, split however the organization likes — on a plan priced at $149.99 a year. Ours is a percentage of $39.99, which is why our number is lower and why the percentage is not the interesting part of this conversation.

New Zealand has a funded channel at roughly twenty times our price

Work and Income funds medical alarms from four accredited suppliers, and Consumer NZ reports those suppliers must charge a reasonable cost of between NZ$13 and NZ$15 a week — about NZ$676 to NZ$780 a year per household. We are not in that scheme and we are not a monitored alarm. We are the option for the clients who will never qualify for it or never want it.

Referral, not reselling, is where agencies actually start

Home Instead UK, the closest franchise analogue to a private home care agency, refers its clients to a personal-alarm provider and publishes no price, discount or commission at all. St John NZ recruits GPs and community organizations to refer and pays them nothing, offering free trials, demonstrations and translated brochures instead. If a non-cash arrangement suits you better than a small cash cut, say so on the call — it is a legitimate answer here.

What we won't claim

That a quiet phone means somebody is fine. Passive activity is information for the person's contacts, never confirmation of safety, and we will not let a client believe a missed alert is the same as an all-clear.

That this replaces emergency services. It is a check-in that messages the contacts a person chose. It does not dispatch anyone and it is not a monitored alarm.

That our watch app is Apple's fall detection. It is our own motion-based detector on the watch. Describing it as Apple's feature would be borrowing a claim we have no right to.

That we have organizational references. We have not completed a partner pilot, so there is no case study, no testimonial and no logo wall. The first partner gets a real say in how this is built.

Questions organizations ask first

How much will my organization actually earn?

Less than you are probably expecting, and we would rather say so now than at the end of a sales process. We pay 20% of the first payment from every household you refer: $6.00 on Premium and $8.00 on Premium Plus. A US medical-alert affiliate is reported to earn $65 to $70 for a single sale. The percentage is not the lever here; volume with near-zero effort per household is. If your organization wants something larger, like a group discount or licences built into your own service, that is exactly what a call is for.

What does the three-year prepaid licence cost?

We have not set that price, so we are not going to print one. What we can tell you is the shape: a one-year licence stays the default, a three-year option is planned alongside it, and the point of prepaying is a discount we have not yet sized. Nobody in this category sells a multi-year prepaid licence for a check-in subscription, so there is no benchmark to copy — the nearest thing is Life Alert's three-year contract, which is a lock-in obligation rather than a transferable licence.

Does this work with funded clients in New Zealand?

Check before you assume it does. Work and Income funds medical alarms through the Disability Allowance for the ongoing costs of a medical alarm service, such as rental and monitoring, from four accredited suppliers. It explicitly excludes buying an alarm as a one-off cost. A prepaid multi-year licence is a one-off cost, so it is the shape least likely to be reimbursable there, and it needs confirming with MSD directly. The annual subscription is a closer fit to how the allowance is written, though we are not an accredited supplier and we are not claiming to be one.

Can you prove this works with a case study?

No, and we are not going to show you a logo wall that does not exist. We have not completed an organizational pilot. What we can offer instead is a small first cohort where you are the reference rather than the audience for someone else's.

Is this HIPAA compliant?

We are not making that claim. An organization-level dashboard is pending a formal business-associate review before we would recommend it to a HIPAA-covered organization, and we would rather you heard that from us than from your compliance officer. Ask us directly about where it stands for your specific use case.

What does a client get if they never pay anything?

A free account with one emergency contact and a daily check-in, which does not expire. That matters for a partner because you can recommend it to a client with no money at all and it still does something real.
